Order Processor – Blackburn

Responsibilities

• Manage a set group of customer accounts.
• Process orders efficiently and accurately.
• Call off plots for sites using our bespoke IT system.
• Order custom items from third-party suppliers.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with customers.
• Collaborate with GAP’s Key Account Managers (KAMs) and liaise with depots and stock teams to ensure effective order fulfilment.
• Communicate with buyers to verify that purchase orders cover material costs.
• Resolve customer disputes and complaints professionally.
• Work with the scheduling team to align site schedules with customer needs.

Work Experience

• Proven experience in order processing or a related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with order management software and ERP systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
