NDT Technician – UK preferably based in the North West

Responsibilities

• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) on fuel storage systems to identify material defects
• Evaluate inspection results and document findings in compliance with regulatory standards
• Prepare detailed NDT reports and present results to engineering and operations teams as needed
• Develop and implement inspection procedures, ensuring adherence to industry best practices
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering staff to coordinate NDT schedules without disrupting operations
• Stay updated on new NDT techniques and technologies relevant to fuel storage systems

To join our team, you will need:  

• Proven experience as an NDT Technician, preferably focusing on fuel storage and distribution systems.
• Certification in relevant NDT methods Minimum PCN Level 2 in Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)
• Strong understanding of industry regulations and standards related to fuel storage.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for reporting and collaborating with team members.
• Willingness to perform inspections in various environmental conditions, including confined spaces and at heights.
