Fuel Service Engineer – Bury - Greater Manchester

Key responsibilities

As a fuel service engineer at Crown Oil Environmental,

• You will be responsible for working with various commercial and industrial fuel equipment, including tanks, pipelines, pumps, gauges, monitoring systems, polishing, and sampling
• Your duties will include tank cleaning, fuel sampling, high-pressure jetting, commissioning and decommissioning, and remedial work on commercial fuel tanks
• You will also be required to prepare detailed site and survey reports (RAMS) and ensure that all activities comply with all statutory health and safety requirements and the company’s Health and Safety Policy
• Monitor stock levels, such as PPE and equipment used
• Travel required across Greater Manchester
• You will be responsible for fuel sampling and analysis, fuel filtering to the required specification, and undertaking site surveys and customer visits

Skills and experience required

Industry knowledge would be ideal for the right candidate, and full training will be provided. The following are essential requirements to be considered:

• Full UK driving licence
• Physically fit as the role will be physically demanding
• Willingness to travel as UK travel will be required, including overnight
• CSCS card
• Confined spaces (High Risk) trained
• Working at height trained

Desirable requirements

• Industry knowledge
• HGV Class 2 license
• Monitor account performance and implement strategies to improve profitability and customer satisfaction
