Depot Manager – Livingston

Responsibilities

• Manage all depot operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service.
• Build and nurture relationships with trade customers to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
• Lead, motivate, and develop your team to achieve performance goals and enhance the customer experience.
• Implement strategies to improve depot efficiency and profitability while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Oversee stock levels, order materials, and supervise stock control processes.
• Prepare and report on the depot’s financial performance, including budgets and forecasts.

Skills and experience required

• Proven experience as a Branch Manager or in a similar management role within the building supplies or similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of building materials supplies and an understanding of trade customer needs.
• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions to drive business success.
• Proficient in inventory management and financial reporting.
